Case: Swiss

Swiss is still known by many as Swissair. And to me that's a good thing since Swissair was for many years the epitome of service, class and good taste.
It was one of the few carriers with three classes on all of its flights.
So when I thought about Swiss I decided to bring the idea of what the world think of Switzerland.
It all came down to a melange of things and ideas, like "chocolate", "Alps", "Snow and clear blue sky", "Professionalism", "Punctuality", "Red", "Clean" and "Educated".
While most airlines prefer to use navy blue or dark blue for their uniforms, I decided to go with a dark brown, beige, spicy (reddish terracotta) and warm black combination for the skirts, pants, jackets, gloves, spring trench coat and winter coat.
The scarves have a geometric design combining red, sky blue, navy blue, light grey, charcoal, beige and dark brown.
the shoes and boots are black.

The whole idea is to position Swiss employees above the rest of the European airlines, including the charter and flashy low-cost. showing professionalism, elegance and good taste.
